Walking

Today, I was about to hop in my car to bring my son home from school. Just as usual. But then I changed my mind. I don't have to rush back to the office anymore. Besides, it was such a bright, sunny day - so why not walk? "Dad, where is the car?" - he asked. "There is no car" - I said. "We'll just walk home." We had a great time together. Empty Calendar: Priceless!

Until just a couple of days ago, my calendar used to be filled with upcoming meetings and other useless stuff. Just checked my phone, and what I see is PRICELESS! :) Empty Calendar Don't get me wrong; it's not like I've been just hanging around doing nothing since I left my daytime job. Actually, I got more on my todo-list than ever before. But there is a huge difference: I enjoy each and every project I'm working on. I Quit

Just quit the 9-to-5 today and became officially FREE! I've been preparing for this for more than three years. Finally, I will have the time to work on the projects I love. That liberating feeling when I left the office building is priceless! I spent 18 years in the corporate world. More than I should have.
